Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: August 2026

Welcome to Iowa Striping. By requesting our services, receiving a quote, approving a project, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Services

Iowa Striping provides professional parking lot striping and pavement marking services, including but not limited to:

  • Parking lot striping

  • Curb number painting

  • ADA parking stalls and markings

  • Directional arrows

  • Pavement symbols and lettering

  • Fire lane markings

  • Other custom pavement marking services

Services are performed based on the scope of work agreed upon between Iowa Striping and the customer.

2. Estimates and Quotes

All estimates and quotes are based on the information available at the time of preparation. Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes or if site conditions differ significantly from those observed or communicated when the estimate was prepared.

Additional work requested by the customer may result in additional charges.

3. Scheduling and Access

Customers are responsible for providing Iowa Striping with reasonable access to the work area at the scheduled time.

The customer should ensure that vehicles, equipment, debris, and other obstructions are removed from the area before work begins. Delays caused by restricted access or conditions outside Iowa Striping’s control may require the project to be rescheduled.

4. Weather and Site Conditions

Striping and pavement marking work can be affected by weather and surface conditions.

Iowa Striping reserves the right to postpone or reschedule work when rain, moisture, extreme temperatures, or other conditions may prevent proper application or curing of the markings.

Rescheduling due to unsuitable weather or site conditions will not be considered a cancellation by Iowa Striping.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and identifying any known underground utilities, private restrictions, property boundaries, or other conditions that could affect the work.

The customer is also responsible for obtaining any property-owner, landlord, tenant, municipal, or other approvals required for the requested work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Payment

Payment terms will be communicated as part of the project estimate or agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the work. Additional services or changes to the approved scope may be billed separately.

Iowa Striping reserves the right to suspend or decline additional work when an outstanding balance remains unpaid.

7. Changes and Cancellations

Changes to the scope of work should be communicated before work begins whenever possible.

Customer-requested changes after work has started may result in additional charges and may affect the project schedule.

Cancellation fees, if applicable, will be communicated to the customer before the project begins.

8. One-Year Workmanship Guarantee

Iowa Striping stands behind the quality of its workmanship with a 1-Year Guarantee, subject to the terms and conditions of the specific project.

The guarantee applies to defects directly related to the workmanship or application of the striping or pavement markings performed by Iowa Striping.

The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by vehicles or other equipment, pavement deterioration, cracking, resurfacing, sealcoating, snow removal, chemicals, weather-related damage, construction activity, or other conditions outside Iowa Striping’s control.

Any warranty concerns should be reported to Iowa Striping as soon as reasonably possible so the issue can be inspected and evaluated.

9. Existing Pavement and Surface Conditions

The quality and longevity of pavement markings can be affected by the condition of the existing surface.

Iowa Striping is not responsible for premature deterioration caused by damaged, cracked, deteriorated, contaminated, improperly prepared, or otherwise unsuitable pavement unless specifically covered by the project agreement.

10. ADA and Regulatory Compliance

Iowa Striping strives to provide professional pavement markings and ADA-related services. However, customers are responsible for providing accurate property information and identifying applicable local requirements.

Unless specifically included in the written scope of work, Iowa Striping does not guarantee that a property’s overall parking configuration or existing conditions comply with every applicable federal, state, county, or municipal regulation.

Customers should consult the appropriate authority or qualified professional when regulatory compliance requires site-specific determination.

11. Photos and Project Documentation

Iowa Striping may photograph completed projects for documentation, portfolio, website, advertising, or marketing purposes unless the customer requests otherwise.

Any use of customer-identifying information will be handled appropriately.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Iowa Striping’s liability arising from a project will be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

Iowa Striping will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
